The Phytosanitary Standard ISPM-15 (NIMF-15) establishes the requirements for the treatment and phytosanitary certification of wooden pallets used in international trade. This heat treatment is crucial to ensure the elimination of living organisms and pests that may be present in the wood, preventing their global spread.
Our heat treatment process for pallets strictly complies with the standards demanded by the regulation. Wooden pallets destined for export undergo a process where a minimum temperature of 56°C is reached for a minimum duration of 30 minutes.
This heat treatment ensures the elimination of any harmful organisms, such as insects or larvae, present in the wood of the pallet.
